Description

To coincide with this year’s Punk London festival, Barbican Music Library is delighted to announce the exhibition FANZINES: a Cut-and-Paste Revolution which will take place in August.

The exhibition traces the development of zine making, from the 1950s to the present day and will encompass a wide spectrum of self-published material.

From early Sci-fi zines to the identity based productions of the millennium via Punk, Riotgrrl and Pop, the exhibition offers a snapshot of 60 years of subculture.
