This is the annual(ish) Lord Mayor’s Hot Air Balloon Regatta, which raises money from sponsors for the Lord Mayor's charity.
The lift-off is at sunrise, and they drift with the wind over central London.
There are a number of dates set aside for the lift-off, just in case the weather is not favourable initially -- and details are updated on their website on the Saturday afternoon.
