Description
A small heritage gallery in the basement of the Guildhall currently has three documents on display.
The Great Parchment Book, 1639.
The Great Parchment Book is known as the Domesday of the Ulster Plantation. The Book has significant information about the native Irish, English and Scottish people who lived in Ulster (now modern Northern Ireland) and their relationship with London and central government in the seventeenth century.
Boundary Housing Estate
Plans of the iconic Boundary Housing Estate just north of the City of London, 1900.
Imprisonment of Oscar Wilde
A prison register recording the imprisonment of Oscar Wilde, 1895.
