Playing as part of the Made at Riverside TV Festival, celebrating the long and storied history of TV production at the historic Studios, we proudly present a Friday night bill of classic music shows of yesteryear.
The OLD GREY WHISTLE TEST was the influential music show of the 1970s and 80s presented by Bob Harris and others. RIVERSIDE was the title of a weekly magazine programme shown on BBC 2 in 1982 and 1983 with a focus on "music, art, fashion and style".
They're delighted that Dick Fiddy - who curated this special double bill - will give a detailed introduction before the show. Dick Fiddy is a writer and TV Historian who works at the BFI in London as their Archive Television Programmer.
