There should be gathering of four preserved B-type buses in the Piazza at Covent Garden.
This is a unique and possibly never to be repeated event.
The event is timed to co-incide with the planned move of Battle Bus into the London Transport Museum to replace "Ole Bill".
The four B-types are:
B 43 "Ole Bill" owned by the Imperial War Museum and on display at Covent Garden for the past four years
B 340 owned by London Transport Museum
B 1609 in private ownership
B 2737 Battle Bus, in World War One khaki livery and owned by London Transprot Museum
All four buses should be on public display from 9am until at least mid-afternoon.
Note that these are 100-year old buses - and details are subject to last minute change.
