A full day of live music, art, theatre, food, creative workshops and events for the whole family.
Surrounded by the green oasis and wildlife of the New River.
Built over 400 years ago, the New River (in actuality a viaduct), was an engineering feat of its time. Dug by hand, it is still in use today, bringing Londoners fresh drinking water from springs in Hertfordshire. Visitors can walk nearly its entire length thanks to the New River Path which provides a unique green oasis in this area teeming with wildlife and beautiful vistas for the public to explore and enjoy.
Nestled beside the East and West Reservoirs at Woodberry Down, the New River creates a stunning backdrop for the festival. The day’s events, including a Wetland treasure hunt, arts and crafts workshops and canoeing down the New River, wind along landscaped paths and a modern kids' playground. If you fancy a family focused day with an intimate, community vibe surrounded by nature, this is the festival for you.
