Free FreeNetwork Rail’s real challenge over the length of this programme (which continues for another 3 years) has been mostly associated with undertaking major works whilst maintaining an operational railway for the Train Operating Companies and Freight Operating Companies (TOC & FOC).
The speaker will talk about the some of the great achievements and their associated challenges to date and continue the presentation by way of detailing some of the key activities within the remainder of the delivery programme.
With each phase of the programme, new challenges appear. The Elizabeth line will be vital to the future success of the capital. In just over two years the first passenger trains will go through the centre of London. The new railway is on its way.
