A screening of the pilot episode of 1970s television series Wonder Woman as part of our series of Monstrous or Misunderstood: Classical Female Characters in SF and Fantasy TV.
Dr Amanda Potter will give a talk exploring how the Amazons were represented as warrior women in Ancient Greece and how the Amazon character has been reinvented as the super-heroine Wonder Woman.
Then you can sit back watch the show and, if so minded, record what you think about it as part of Amanda’s research.
