Free FreeThe Andromeda Strain is Robert Wise's classic screen adaptation of the Michael Crichton science fiction novel about an alien organism inadvertently brought to Earth and the team of scientists who race to understand it before it destroys all life on our planet.
Our expert guest will be Dr. Jennifer Harris from the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences (BBK/UCL) who uses advanced satellite imaging techniques to explore the surface of Mars and Martian meteorites to identify whether our closest celestial neighbour has the conditions necessary to sustain life.
