Take a journey through the history of Christmas carols with author and ex-chorister, Alexandra Coughlan, and James Jolly, editor of Gramophone magazine.
The sound of a lone voice singing Once in Royal David's City amid the candlelit chapel of King's College, Cambridge, marks the start of Christmas festivities for many people in Britain. This year we're bringing King's College to London as a quartet of choristers sing some well known Christmas tunes while Alexandra and James describe the stories behind these seasonal favourites.
Come along for a glass of mulled cider and join in the festivities as Alexandra, James and their choir come to spread Christmas cheer.
