Join us for an evening of discussion on how science fiction reflects and predicts societal anxieties.
The conversation will be led by two experts:
Dr. Dolores Martinez is an anthropologist at SOAS University of London where she teaches a course titled 'The Other in Horror and Science Fiction'.
Roz Kaveney is a poet, science fiction novelist and cultural commentator living in London. Her books include DIALECTIC OF THE FLESH, TINY PIECES OF SKULL, RHAPSODY OF BLOOD and READING THE VAMPIRE SLAYER.
From Star Trek to Black Mirror, join us to explore what these imagined worlds say about the boundaries of humanity, and the future we want to create.
