The Churches Conservation Trust Candida Lycett Green Annual Lecture

This event has finished Took place on: Wednesday, 19th Oct 2016

 Free

Join Lucinda Lambton, an award-winning historian and broadcaster
for her lecture ‘Slough and Other Splendours: my most beloved of Britain’s churches’

Lucinda will take us on a personal journey around Britain’s historic religious buildings with a nod to John Betjeman’s daughter, the late Candida Lycett Green, passionate champion of historic churches and former Vice President of the Trust.

Following Lucinda’s talk there will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions, and to enjoy light refreshments during a drinks reception included in the ticket price. Our annual lecture is also a great chance to meet other supporters and volunteers and staff who together keep our priceless collection of English history safe and open to all.
