Free FreeOn 25th September, a band of 1066 warriors will leave York to trek south by horse and foot. On October 14th they will arrive at the site of the Battle of Hastings, 950 years to the day that King Harold met William, Duke of Normandy's invading force.
However, on the 8th October they will be encamped in Hyde Park.
Seems to be a sort of fair/exhibition of Saxon heritage, but the website is woefully lacking in details.
