The Greenwich Historical Society presents an illustrated talk by Michael Graham-Smith and Polly Carter. Ballast Quay is an ancient street name redolent of trade and the sea. Once one of London's hidden places, but now sandwiched between post-industrial regeneration developments, this talk will delve into the rich history of the street and recall some of the entrepreneurs who have left their mark on the area.
