In January this year Leon Daniels wrote to our Chief Executive and Chairman of the PPC expressing a wish to explain the on going Road Modernisation Programme with particular emphasis on the mitigation measures in place to control traffic while the changes take effect.

We invited Leon to open our New Season but he will be abroad on business and Garrett Emmerson, Chief Operating Officer, Surface Transport has agreed to speak to us in his stead.

We have arranged to open our 2016- 2017 event season with Garrett and a very interesting subject when one considers that TFL is trying to create a 21st Century Road System in an 18th Century city.
