Free FreeJoin Thames21 to tidy up one of London’s biggest litter hotspots – Newcastle Draw Dock on the Isle of Dogs. As well as cleaning the site, we will be leading a count to uncover where all the litter is coming from.
This event is part of our Thames River Watch Big Count, which involves a series of events at Newcastle Draw Dock to help us answer questions like:
is the litter issue on the Thames getting worse or better?
which types of litter are the most common?
how is the litter getting into the river (and how do we stop it)?
We would love you to come down and give a helping hand. All ages welcome, children under the age of 16 to be accompanied by an adult.
Boots and gloves will be provided by Thames21.
