Free FreeExplore an ornate temple hidden in the quiet streets of east London and enjoy the street life, shops and snacks of London's answer to South India. The trip will include an exploration & explanation of temple architecture, Hinduism, spirituality, Hindu myths and legends.
Your guide for this trip is Manju - below - who grew up in the area and can't wait to show off the best of Southern Indian hospitality.
The trip includes a tour of the local food & saree & jewellery shops, a guide to the spices and secrets of South Indian cookery and will end with a visit to Manju's favourite restaurant an optional delicious & typical South Indian meal (not included).
The group is small to allow us to visit smaller places off the beaten track. There are only 15 spots available on each trip & we recommend booking a place on this wonderful tour early.
