Flames, smoke and fireworks are used on TV and in film to add explosive atmosphere, but how do scientists go about making these effects?

Join pyrotechnician and science communicator Matthew Tosh to find out, and explore the amazing world of live special effects. Learn how to make a controlled column of fire but not an explosion, how to create ankle hugging fogs without filling the entire stage, and much more.

Expect lots of demos and maybe a few explosions in this exciting show. 

Particularly suitable for ages 7+.
