A chance to get onto the foreshore at Millennium Bridge and find archaeological ‘Treasures of the Thames’. Who knows what will be found-old smoking pipes, drain pipes, pottery, bones…there is lots of evidence of London's past to be found.
Meeting by the glass obelisk under the north bank of the Millennium Bridge we will explore the foreshore from there to Queenhithe Dock. We are guaranteed to find pipes, pottery and lots of evidence as the twice daily tide reveals London's history...
Please note that our walk times vary depending on the tide - this walk will start at 11.00am and conclude at approximately 1.00pm depending on weather and tide conditions.
