Join the Institute of Making to celebrate the sheer joy of stuff as they host the greatest ever public extravaganza to mark the finale of their annual Festival of Stuff.
Come along to explore the sound of materials by making a whistle and joining in with the brass band DatBrass. Explore their selection of unusual tuning forks and have a go on a 3D printed violin. Watch the only remaining master clog makers Jeremy Atkinson and upholster and chair caner Rachael South, will be asking visitors to help construct a bench. Make a paintbrush with designer Rachel Colley and explore pigments inspired by artifacts from UCL’s Museums and Collections. UCL's Computer Science department will be showcasing their latest creation, The Prof Tickle Machine. Designed to feed you breakfast without leaving bed, the incredibly long robotic arm is one of a kind.
