Poet, broadcaster and comedian Ian McMillan, and acclaimed composer Luke Carver Goss present a hilarious night of words, music and improv.
The evening will climax in a brand new musical created about the local neighbourhood.
Bard of Barnsley Ian McMillan hosts weekly hit radio show The Verb, is the poet-in-residence for Barnsley FC, and a regular on BBC Breakfast, Coast, Countryfile, Pick of the Week and Last Word. His rip-roaring poetry shows are legendary.
Luke Carver Goss has recorded and performed with his own group, the acclaimed Carver Trio, as well as The Ian McMillan Orchestra, the Balkan singer Tea Hodzic and jazz singer Tina May. His latest piece is Last Train to Elvet for Durham Brass Festival and Tredegar Town Band.
