Spend the evening with us as we demystify one of the newest discoveries in physics – gravitational waves.
Professor Martin Hendry from the University of Glasgow brings the latest sound of the universe to Kings Cross as he explains what gravitational waves are and what they can tell us about the cosmos.
Composer Arthur Jeffes will also play his musical interpretation of gravitational waves, produced from the chirps of data recorded as two black holes collided millions of years ago.
Drinks and snacks are available at the talk, and attendance is free, just make sure to register beforehand.
