Visit Imperial College London on 7-8 May for a packed weekend of activities, talks, tours and more for the fifth annual Imperial Festival.
Get hands-on and interactive with scientists and researchers ranging from robots and railways through to microchips and medicine. Drop in to chat with over 500 researchers and immerse yourself in interactive science demonstrations, from playing the heart and lung lottery game to tasting an edible solar system.
New for 2016 are the Health & Wellbeing zone, Energy & Environment zone and Transport zone, joining the popular Superbugs zone, Robots zone and Research zone.
You can also chat to Festival favourites Talkaoke about the scientific issues of the day, get acquainted with Imperial’s fleet of vintage vehicles and let George the Dragon show you the joys of engineering. A full programme of dance and music runs alongside the exhibitions, as well as food from some of London’s favourite farmers’ market stalls. The event is free and open to all.
Interact online via the hashtag #impfest and share your best photos from the weekend for a chance to win a bag full of Festival goodies.
