London is home to over a million citizens of another EU country. The City is Europe's biggest financial centre. The polls suggest Londoners will vote to remain in the EU, though its outgoing mayor is campaigning to leave. Could London thrive outside the EU? How much has London gained from Europe - and Europe gained from London? 

Ben Judah is a journalist and the author of the best-selling book This Is London. 

Sarah Ludford is the Liberal-Democrat spokesperson for Europe, an LSE graduate, and a qualified barrister. 

Julie Smith is Director of the European Centre and Senior Lecturer in International Relations at Cambridge University.

Tony Travers is Director of LSE London.
