Recycle, Upcycle & Exchange at Chrisp Street’s Spring Festival

Chrisp Street is going green on Saturday 23rd April for Poplar’s annual Spring Festival.

There will be a variety of free interactive stalls and activities centred around this year’s theme of Recycle, Upcycle and Exchange, guaranteed to have something for all the family to enjoy.

There will be stalls for the fashionistas, including a Fruity Beauty workshop and the popular Swishing event which will be held outside for the first ever time.

For the food enthusiasts there will be live cooking demonstrations, a herb and seed exchange and a live skills swap, including a chance to chat to some local gardening groups about their produce.

The day will also host activities based on larger eco issues including a Bulk Rubbish Reuse Workshop, Alternatives to Disposables and the opportunity to check out some electric cars.

All of the green action can be enjoyed alongside live music and a variety of local food traders.
