The Battle Of Culloden

This year marks the 270th anniversary of the Battle of Culloden, the final confrontation in the 1745 Jacobite rising. Dr Christopher Duffy will discuss the importance of manuscript collections in understanding the events of the battle, as well as the wider historical significance of the risings as a whole.
