Free FreeThe Tolworth Court Farm Moated Manor Local Nature Reserve site has previously had no public access and for the first time we are pleased to be opening it up to the community for people to come and explore the reserve.
Once a medieval manor stood on the site, but all that remains now is a small river and pond which were once part of the manors moat.
The site is fantastic for wildlife with badgers, kestrel, kingfishers and many other interesting species living in the varied habitats which can be found on this 2.7 hectare site. Join us for a day to learn about the wildlife and history of the site, we will also run traditional conservation workshops with scything, planting and hedge creation. With live music, BBQ and fun for all the family.
