Discover the secret history and living culture of Crossbones; the outcasts' burial ground, the 'Winchester Geese', the Victorian paupers and the body-snatchers who pillaged their mortal remains. Find out about its rediscovery in recent years and the poetic vision that led local people to reclaim this desolate place as a garden of remembrance.
Local author, poet, performer and activist John Constable will lead tours and answer questions.
Arthur de Mowbray, the artist behind the stunning carved Goosewing entrance, will be in residence over the weekend to talk about his craft and installation in the garden.

Numbers of visitors to the site may be limited due to capacity and tours will be led on a first come, first served basis.No prior booking is required but you may be required to wait for access if the garden is at its capacity.
