Sound archivist Ian Rawes set up the London Sound Survey in 2009 to explore the capital's past and present life through field recordings. Since then, his website has gathered over 1,500 recordings and has been featured by the national press, TV and radio. Ian will be presenting and discussing a selection of recordings to take the listener back into London's lost worlds of sound.

ED DOWIE
Ed has been making music since the late 1990s, firstly as one third of Parlophone's Beta Band also-rans, Brothers in Sound, then as solo act Redarthur. After a 5-year hiatus which he spent living in University libraries & music technology labs making strange bleeps, he returned to the music industry to join The Paper Cinema and has recently resurrected a solo career which we think is amazing !
