Murray Craig, the 37th Clerk of the Chamberlain’s Court, originating in 1294, will talk about the diverse world of the City of London Livery Companies.
Murray has a unique insight due to his role as the conduit between the Livery and the Court of Aldermen.
He has an in depth knowledge of these ancient and not so ancient companies and will tell you about expressions such as “sixes and sevens”, “if the cap fits” and “lock stock and barrel”.
