Join Carolyne Larrington, author of a new book Winter is Coming, to discover the medieval history, myths and legends which inspired George R.R. Martin’s hit book and TV series, Game of Thrones. Discussing the novels and TV series alike, Carolyne Larrington (Fellow in Medieval English Literature at Oxford University and self-confessed Game of Thrones fan) will take you on a journey through the Wars of the Roses, delve into sigils, giants, dragons in medieval literature, ravens, old gods and the Weirwood in Norse myth, and much more.
