The latest in our series of death-themed Scibars this month features 2 brilliant speakers.
If you're having a Dry January (Januadry? Drynuary?? Drynuadry???) then fear not as you can replace all that delicious booze with cake, and have a perfectly robust scientific reason for doing so. Maia Elliot from the University of Surrey will be explaining how a lack of cake can technically kill you!
We also have Lara Iredale, trainee anatomical pathology technician – or mortician to me and you. Speaking about her life in the morgue at St Thomas’ Hospital, answering questions such as: what goes through ones mind during an autopsy? Is it like being Dana Sculley? And What is the weirdest thing you’ve ever seen?
