Exhibition: Celebrating Hackney’s Adventure Playgrounds

Created with people who made, used and worked in adventure playgrounds in Hackney, this exhibition features personal stories, photographs and objects from from the 1950s to the present day.

They provide a fascinating insight into the creation of adventure playgrounds and the ways in which they have influenced the lives of local people.

Visitors can get hands-on with ‘loose parts’ - everyday objects that you can play with and that are often found in adventure playgrounds, or contribute their own written memories of adventure playgrounds to the memory wall.
