This exhibition from the Local Studies Collection, funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, explores the built history of the towns and villages of Richmond upon Thames from the 1880’s to the 1960’s.
From workmen’s cottages and dairies to grand theatres and large housing estates, some of the thousands of historic building plans will be on display, investigating the social history and development of the borough.
