Join us for an atmospheric, candlelight evening experience at the Royal College of Physicians in Regent's Park.
Discover and taste food enjoyed over the last 500 years, with live demonstrations, cheese and wine tastings and expert speakers.
Programme
6pm: Doors open for cheese and wine tasting. Relax and enjoy our candle-lit Grade I listed building and museum collections
7pm: In conversation with:
Ivan Day Professional cook, scholar, broadcaster and writer, renowned for his fabulous recreations of historic food and table settings
Christopher Hartop Silver expert, lecturer and broadcaster, regular on Antiques roadshow. Together with Ivan Day, recreated the Netherfield Ball supper for BBC2’s Pride and prejudice: The ball
Annie Gray Historian, cook and broadcaster, resident food historian on BBC Radio 4’s The kitchen cabinet
8pm onwards: Demonstrations from our speakers will follow the 'In conversation'.
10pm: event closes
