This panel event showcases findings from a new edited collection on police stop and search. The implications will be discussed by a range of experts.

Ben Bowling (@benbowling62) is Professor of criminology and criminal justice at King's College, London.

Rebekah Delsol (@RebekahDelsol) is the Program Officer for ethnic profiling with the Open Society Justice Initiative.

Victor Olisa (@StopWatchUK) is Borough Commander for Haringey and received his PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2005.

Robert Reiner is Emeritus Professor of Criminology in the Law Department, London School of Economics and Political Science.

Michael Shiner is Associate Professor in the Social Policy Department, London School of Economics and Political Science.

Jennifer Brown is a chartered forensic and chartered occupational psychologist. She is co-director of the Manheim Centre, and Deputy Chair of the Independent Police Commission looking into the future of policing.

The Department of Social Policy (@LSESocialPolicy) is the longest established in the UK. The Department prides itself in being able to offer teaching based on the highest quality empirical research in the field. The Manheim Centre for Criminology is a multidisciplinary centre incorporating staff from across the LSE.
