'Medicine, Monks and Murder': An alternative walking tour

This event has finished Took place on: Friday, 20th Nov 2015

 Free

We are led by a City of London Guide, who takes us through the university’s private grounds, part of “secret London”, where we unlock the gate to The Charterhouse’s Almshouse and explore the rich history of the building. We continue to St Bartholomew’s Hospital, one of the oldest working hospitals in the world.

Participants are then given the exclusive opportunity to visit our state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, with explanations and demonstrations from one of our very own laboratory managers - a glimpse of the future of cancer research. The tour ends with a chance to chat to our researchers over a cup of tea - a truly interactive experience!

All money we raise from such events goes to fund our cancer research.
