GRESHAM COLLEGE WITH THE BRITISH SOCIETY FOR THE HISTORY OF MATHEMATICS
The afternoon will contribute to the appreciation of Ada Lovelace by bringing together papers on women mathematicians working in very different times.
The main speaker, Professor Ursula Martin, will discuss The Scientific Life of Ada Lovelace, preceded by shorter presentations by Dr Fenny Smith on Hypatia: Sifting The Myths and Dr Peter Neumann on Hanna Neumann: A Mathematician in Difficult Times. There will be a short break at 5.30pmEnds at 7pm
