The Greenwich Historical Society presents an illustrated talk by Frances Ward.
As part of the Society's marking of the centenary of the 1914-18 war and its effect on our Borough, this talk outlines the contribution made by women workers at Woolwich Arsenal to the war effort during World War 1.
Frances Ward, until her retirement, was one of the stalwarts of the Greenwich Heritage Centre, and latterly its education officer, well known for her lively and animated delivery of fascinating talks.
