The Foundling Museum explores the history of the Foundling Hospital, the UK’s first children’s charity and first public art gallery.
Includes free entry to the exhibition ‘The Fallen Woman’ curated by Professor Lynda Nead. This major exhibition explores the myth and reality of the ‘fallen woman’ in Victorian Britain through works by Rossetti, Redgrave and Watts, and the petitions of women applying to give up their babies to the Foundling Hospital
