Sex talk in Soho!? We know we're as surprised as you are. Believe it or not we'll be hosting a Graphic Sex Talk by Stephen Lowther of The Wellcome Library on the 22nd October from 7.30-9 pm. Stephen will be discussing all aspects of sex throughout the history of comics.
'A taste of sexuality, sexism, censorship, gender identity and sexually transmitted diseases in comics, pulps, graphic novels, magazines, undergrounds, comic strips and postcards, from Aubrey Beardsley’s ‘Lysistrata’ and the ripped shirts of Doc Savage to Adam Hughes’ ‘Wonder Woman’ and gay marriage in Astonishing X-Men.'
It's first come first served so make sure you get down early to grab your seat and avoid disappointment.
