It was here that around 25,000 Huguenots sought sanctuary after the revocation of the Edict of Nantes in 1685. Many were destitute and brought nothing with them but the skills and the determination to create a life for themselves and their families. Many grew prosperous, others didn't fare too well, but all left their mark in this very special area of London.
Meet outside Christ Church, Charlie de Wet is your guide.
Cost £10; turn up on the day, or to reserve a place book here.
