This event has finished Took place on: Saturday, 12th Sep 2015

In 1974, Wing Commander Hubert ‘Dizzy’ Allen questioned who actually won the Battle of Britain.

More recently, naval historians have argued that it was the Royal Navy, as a ‘fleet in being’, that won the Battle.

Ross Mahoney, Aviation Historian at the RAF Museum, examines this enduring debate and seeks to offer an answer to this vexing question.
