Gravity Light uses gravity driven kinetic energy to create cleaner and brighter light.  With 20% of the world not having access to electricty and thus electric lighting, the main option for lighting is the use of Kerosine Lamps.  Which are dangerous for a number reasons:

Breathing in dangerous fumes which equate to smoking 40 cigerettes a day.

 

Users will spend an average of 30% of their income on fuel for light.

 

Kerosine lamps have caused fires effecting over 1.5 million people each year.

 

3% contribution to the worlds CO2 emissions.

 

As the new Gravity Light has just been launched we'll look into the mechanisim that drives this incredible firm.
