Join us to celebrate Lammas Day with a three day community Hay Harvest on Walthamstow Marshes - Lammas Meadows.

Scything workshops and community talks - Saturday 1 August

Learn the traditional skill of scything in two-hour workshops on Saturday at the following times (adults only):

10:30 - 12:30

13:30 - 15:30

16:00 - 18:00

Alternatively, if you're a dab-hand at scything, why not just come along!

From 18:30 there will be free talks from local groups on the marshes. Please drop in to listen.

Free family haystacks fun - Sunday 2 August

On Sunday, join us from 12:00 - 16:00 for some fun for all the family. We'll be gathering the hay from the scything workshops into giant haystacks.

Come along with the family and a picnic and take the chance to join a Ranger Ramble walk and talk with the site ranger.

No booking required on Sunday, just turn up.
