Free FreeOpen day of the remains of a once might religious house.
The Chapter House is situated under the A24 Merantun Way, between the Merton Abbey Mills market and a Sainsbury's/M&S hypermarket. Access is from the pedestian underpass connecting the car parks for Pizza Hut and Sainsbury's beneath the road.
Only fragments of the priory remain above ground. The foundations of the Chapter House are preserved, together with displays.
