A riverside roam exploring the lost palaces and mansions of London's riverside together with some of the City's lesser known monuments.
Starting at Westminster Underground Station (exit 4 on Bridge Street) the walk wends its way east along the Thames seeking out remnants of a time when palaces and mansions lined the river - a set of steps, a water gate, the street names - these are all clues that connect us with the past and the stories of those who lived there.
On our way we will take in a museum with an American connection, a 16th Century chapel linked with an American rock star, the incredible story of Kaspar the Cat and some lesser known but striking monuments.
The walk is approximately 1 hour, 45 minutes and will finish close to Temple tube.
