The Fairlop Fair returns to Fairlop Waters Country Park for the 4thd year running, recreated by the Vision Redbridge Culture Team and local partners. Back in the 1700s Fairlop Waters regularly played host to the annual fair with street vendors, acrobats and puppeteers providing the entertainment.

Come along and enjoy ribaldry, chaos and shenanigans on Saturday with family entertainment featuring folk circus, a ‘Freaky show’, traditional toys and games, a Beanfeast, picnics, rowing on the lake, storytelling, fancy dress dogs, historical cooking and traditional herbal remedies.

The Big Book Bubble visits the Fairlop Fair with the Fairlop Oak storytelling tree and All Aboard the StoryBoat with maritime tales and folklore Big Dance events at the fair will include the Golden Years Dance Troupe with folk music inspired chair dance, folk dance workshops as well as a dance floor to join in with the folk music provided by Redbridge Music Lounge.
