Thomas Heatherwick, one of Britain's most innovative and influential designers, will give the NLA Annual Lecture 2015, focusing on designing spaces that encourage interaction between people.
Looking at projects including the Garden Bridge in London, the studio’s cornerless university building in Singapore, and the newly announced Maggie’s Centre Yorkshire, Thomas will discuss how certain spaces can be designed to foster the opportunity for people to meet and engage. He will be joined by Peter Murray for a broader discussion on his work and impact on London.
The event takes place during the London Festival of Architecture 2015 and as a part of NLA's Public London programme, examining the changing nature of London's public spaces.
