Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the Society's temporary exhibition, Magna Carta Through the Ages, which celebrates the 800th Anniversary of the Sealing of Magna Carta. While there, visitors can interact with an onsite interpreter, listen to medieval music, and enjoy drinks from a cash bar.
We'll be welcoming a medieval sealmaker's wife, Annie (played by Fellow Elizabeth New), to the event, and she'll be delighted to tell visitors about life in the middle ages and her husband's trade!
Jez Smith, a medieval musician, will be demonstrating intruments like the hurdy gurdy, bagpipes and gittern.
Booking is not necessary, but space is limited and those who prebook will receive priority entry if we reach our capacity.
